Minneapolis-based agencies, stuck in ‘flyover land,’ have historically struggled to convince top interns – who have their sights set on more desirable ad cities – to come to Minnesota. With the pandemic in full swing, we used self-effacing humor to reinforce that candidates wouldn’t have to move here with the #DontMoveToMinnesota WFH Internship program.

  • Over 900 global applicants within two weeks
  • Each evaluated based on applicant response, finalist Zoom interviews
  • Hired five rockstars
We created recruitment videos depicting how “appealing” it is to live in Minnesota.
Our paid social recruitment ads reinforced candidates’ less-than-positive perceptions about Minnesota.
Candidates were driven to a landing page featuring our WFH Internship details and encouraging them to apply.
