Solve is currently seeking to fill a position for a Media Analyst — a professional with 1-2 years experience who’s looking to harness their passion for numbers, data and learning in a fun, strategic and fast-paced environment. The right candidate is a critical thinker, has a keen interest in understanding consumers and their motivations and is thirsty to learn and apply that knowledge in new and different ways.

Some of the things you'll do

The Media Analyst assists the Connection Strategy Group, working to articulate and solve key challenges across Solve’s client base with detail-oriented thinking, compelling strategy, thoughtful negotiation, and flawless implementation.

Specific duties include:

  • Assisting in the planning process by employing tools and critical thinking to determine which media will most effectively connect with consumers
  • Overseeing media campaign implementation and maintenance
  • Preparing regular activity summaries and performance reports that inform recommendations on how to make client spend more effective
  • Maintaining accuracy in all reporting, analysis, and communications
  • Identifying and vetting potential new media technologies or partners
  • Helping prepare strategic media plans and making data-driven recommendations on how our clients should spend their money
  • Building client presentations, research reports, and summaries
  • Staying on top of cultural and media trends to anticipate where innovations in media are taking place and how our clients can deploy them to their advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or business
  • 1-2 years experience in advertising, media or related field
  • Detail-oriented and organized – multi-tasking might be your middle name
  • Curious and hungry – always wanting to know why and self-driven to learn
  • Well-developed problem-solving abilities
  • Highly articulate with good communication skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Experience with Excel, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, MRI, Simmons or Kantar a plus
