Solve is seeking an Account Director (AD) to help lead teams & key clients and champion remarkable work. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a wake of strong, effective campaigns and the skills to drive accounts’ vision across agency disciplines. Candidates will have ten-plus years of account management experience and thrive in a creative, fast-paced, integrated, entrepreneurial environment. Critical skills include strong client business understanding, a passion for creativity, building/nurturing high-performing teams, strong communication and partnering with senior clients.

Some of the things you'll do

The AD reports to the Director of Account Management and works closely with agency leadership. Having total account(s) oversight, the AD has strong input on strategy, research, brand goals, media connections, business goals and a clear creative point-of-view. You’ll own the momentum of the account, relentlessly moving work forward while resilient in the face of obstacles. Specific duties include:

  • Lead agency partners and external teams to drive planning, ensuring strategic agenda is maintained
  • Partner with most senior clients, advising on their business and leading them to remarkable solutions
  • Closely collaborate with the media connections team to develop integrated plans and campaigns
  • Savvy in digital media, analytics, eComm, and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Wholly own the development of key presentations – setting objectives, leading teams and critically assessing output
  • Resiliently maneuver unforeseen setbacks providing solutions for success
  • Drive annual fee negotiations and effectively manage agency scope of work
  • Strategically manage financial health of accounts, ensuring agency profitability
  • Identify organic growth with clear strategy and plan
  • Help agency team thrive by growing talent and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
  • Show ability to work effectively at scale
  • Proactively identifies areas where the agency could be improved and leads the team to solutions and optimizations
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ten-plus years account management experience at creatively-charged agency
  • Track record of leading modern, inventive, effective work
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects across a range of traditional and non-traditional platforms
  • Capable of leading and working within a diverse, passionate team
  • Personable, strong communicator, savvy client handler
  • Deft at creating persuasive, c-suite level presentations
  • Effective creative problem-solver
  • Hungry, curious, driven
